Somehow he suspected that wasn't true. But people tended to say a lot of things when they were upset so he wouldn't hold Tay to that. Instead, he just guided him over to sit with him on the edge of the tub then kept stroking his hair. Long and gentle strokes to help him find comfort in this new and strange situation.

Looking over at the ears, he smiled and ran a finger over one of them. "I think they're lovely. I don't know much about fashion but isn't there something aesthetically pleasing about asymmetry? A lot of fashion draws from that as I recall. So really it makes you more fashionable than you already are."
